A new bag

Well I got a new bag made for my friends birthday. It turned out GREAT! I like to make bags that show the persons personality, and this one fit to a T. I found this pillowcase at a thrift store for .89, I quilted the dark side and added some thrift store buy, yellow material and made pockets out of the trim from the pillowcase. I gave it to her at work and she loved it! On to my next project of making bags for a swap meet for car parts. I found material at my favorite stores, so, I'm off to sew somemore!

This is a Tote I made for my friend Jackie. It was her Birthday and I made this from a shower curtain I bought from the Thrift Store. YES IT WAS NEW!

Just starting

HI, I'm Judy I'm just starting to blog. I am starting to make tote bags, purses, and other sewn item. I haven't really gotten into much sewing in the past few years but, now I should have more time to relax and sew. I just want to make "stuff" and pretty much give it away.
I will post pictures of my sewn items just to show them off. If I'm lucky enough maybe someone will buy something! Thanks for listening.
